Natural orange wine by the litre from biodynamic evangelist Valentina Passalacqua who makes low intervention wine in the calcareous Kimmeridgian soils of Gargano, Puglia. This is an 11% ABV citrus delight with vibrant orange blossom aromas overlaid with chamomile and a touch of candy apple. Spontaneous fermentation with maceration on the skins for 7 days in open vats with manual hat breakage. Unfiltered and clarified wine with winter racking in steel containers. At sight it is orange in color; floral notes and aromatic herbs intertwine with hints of oriental spices, composing an elegant and refined aromatic bouquet reminiscent of spring freshness. The taste is fresh and sapid characterized by citrus flavors of mandarin and orange. Very fresh nose, it is an orange wine that recalls spring herbs and oriental spices; on the palate the salinity blends with the aftertaste of mandarin and orange. One litre bottle.
The Orange Wines; are wines produced from white grapes but vinified as if they were reds, that is, leaving the must to macerate for very long times together with the skins and yeasts, which are deposited on the bottom and slowly transfer substances of different nature to the wine. 750ml
