Davenport Pet Nat - A purely natural wine, is fermented by natural yeasts with no added sulphites. It is a light, refreshing, slightly cloudy sparkling wine and is absolutely the perfect summer drink. Bottled during harvest while the wine was still frementing, keeping a light fizz in the bottle. It has a slight yeast sediment adding a great yeasty edge to the fruit aromas.
This is a natural wine in every way and is difficult to make, so we only use the best grapes available to us that we know will end up with the right flavours and balance in the wine. The alcohol level is low, at 8.5%.
Andorfer - Exceptional little Gruner, fermented on its own yeasts and aged in a variety of formats including stainless steel and wood. Slightly cloudy colour with good concentration of yellow plum and greengage with some spicy-leesy grip at the end of the buttery palate. Low in SO2, extremely fresh & vibrant. Belter!
La Biancara Maule Masieri Bianco, crisp, low sulphur, Italian white wine. Masieri Bianco Angiolino Maule is made from spontaneously fermented grapes, from vines grown in volcanic soils, using natural methods. Unfiltered with no added sulphites. Masieri Bianco is a blend of 90% Garganega and the rest is made up of a few other varieties which grow on his estate. The wine is kept fresh by fermentation in stainless steel with no skin contact - delicious with asparagus or pasta with homemade green pesto.
