About the Producer - Wine is fermented grape juice. A natural product without additives. Without fertilizers and pesticides. Bianka and Daniel Schmitt are convinced of this. This two fell in love with natural wine back in 2012 and knew straight away : That is exactly what we want to do. The charismatic couple now cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards in Wonnegau in southern Rheinhessen. The focus is entirely on craftsmanship. This means that every grape and every wine can be treated individually. And you can taste it: The Demeter-certified wines from the Schmitt winery are rough, wild and unpolished, but nevertheless surprisingly stable.
