Mosser Cider - Black Snout Forge 6.4% (750ml)

A unique cider, made from apples grown in Ennerdale and in our own orchard at Mosser. It features two heritage bittersweet cider apples rarely found in Cumbria — Kingston Black (32%) and Brown Snout (30%), supplemented by fruitiness of Forge (30%) and a little Sunset (8%).

Carefully matured for over 12 months in our cool barn, it has complex fruitiness that seems more tropical than Cumbrian.

Tasting notes:- Distinct aroma of passion fruit is followed through on the palate where the intense fruit flavours are balanced by a slight acidity with a dry but smooth finish. Delicious by itself, it also goes brilliantly with pork, chicken, cheese and many vegetarian dishes. For the best tasting experience, do not over-chill.
