Wye Valley Zambian Forest Honey Mead 14.5%

Brewed to the same recipe as our award winning Traditional Mead but using Organic Zambian Forest honey instead of honey from the Wye Valey. The dark forest honey has given the drink a distinct amber colour and a flavour profile with complex herbal and spiced notes. 

This special edition Mead has been brewed in collaboration with charity Bees For Development. Bees for Development works globally to promote sustainable beekeeping to combat poverty, build resilient livelihoods and benefit biodiversity. The charity uses honey bees to enable people to make a living through working with nature, harvesting honey and beeswax, while helping to preserve biodiversity.

As well as supporting beekeepers in Zambia by purchasing the honey, ten percent of profits from sales of the new mead will be donated to Bees for Development by Hive Mind.
