What is happening in store?
We are still limiting the number of customers in both premises to 4 people at one time.
Our staff will continue to wear masks.
Customers wearing masks is encouraged. Please respect other peoples wishes to wear them.
Courier Shipping - Mainland UK
Free for orders over £65. £6 for orders under £65
We currently use APC as our courier. Unfortunately we are unable to specify an exact day or time of delivery (but usually it will be next day if ordered Mon - Wed & Thursday before 10am). If you are not in when we try to deliver, then a card will be left through your door and your parcel will be left at your local depot for you to arrange a more convenient delivery day OR if you have a safe place where you would like your parcel leaving please let us know by leaving a note for us on checkout. A tracking link will be sent to you once your order has been processed which you can enter on the APC website.
Although our courier are doing an great job at getting your parcels to you fairly quickly, there can be some delays due to the extra demand placed on couriers during the pandemic. Please allow 3- 5 working days for delivery from dispatch. Please allow extra time during bank holiday weekends. Please note we are no longer offering designated delivery days or Saturday delivery, as we are unable to guarantee that you will get your parcel on a specific date.

Unfortunately with both shops reopening we lose our flexibility doing local deliveries. We can still courier items to you (see mainland shipping)
Local Pick Up
When can i collect my order?
Collection times at Cockermouth are Thurs, Fri & Saturday 11am - 6:30pm
There is no minimum order for local pick up.
If you want to collect at Ambleside please allow extra time (usually 3 + days as our online depot is in Cockermouth) You will be sent a notification when your order is ready for collection.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IN THE NOTES SECTION ON CHECKOUT THAT YOU WISH TO COLLECT FROM AMBLESIDE TO AVOID ANY DELAYS TO YOUR COLLECTION
Can i drink in yet?
Sadly no, due to the current restrictions and space limitations we are unable to have anyone drinking in at the Taproom. Takeaway only for the time being.
