EFRANOR WHITE Sclavos 12.5% (2022)

A Biodynamic wine, local grapes of Moschatela and Vostilidi. A dry, crisp, fresh, layered, deliciously different white wine from Greece.  These vines lie on the breathtakingly beautiful hills overlooking the east coast of Kefalonia.  They are old vines of indigenous grapes which yield a delicious wine with a unique character.  The vineyards are certified Biodynamic and all processes are by hand in vines and cellar.  The natural fermentation and maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks with maturation on the fine lees for about 7 months without the addition of preservatives.  There are no finings or filtration.  The wine is clean and elegant and very charming, for any light food, fish, simple Greek salad or Dolmades made with vegetables.
