Miranius Cellar Credo Xarel-Lo 11.5% (2022)

A biodynamic wine, 100% Xarel-lo. Savoury flavours, mineral and complex, ripe peachy fruit and notes of mango.  The wine takes its name after a fox called Miranius that is enticed into the vineyard by the smell of the sweet fruit. It’s a young wine that is very vibrant and ages well in the bottle. The current vintage shows freshness but also complexity. Xarel Lo (the Cava grape) is a grape that expresses its terroir and the fermentation being itself quite neutral in character.  That comes through beautifully in the Miranius Cellar Credo.  It is a unique wine, interesting and satisfying and also great value for money.
