Upright Styre is a rare and relatively unknown variety from the Forest of Dean. It has been preserved through an orchard planted in Glasbury-on-Wye in 1932 by Bulmers, and Ross on Wye were able to plant two trees in 2010. The trees are unmistakable; they are the most remarkable, a bolt upright, towering apple tree. Early to bloom, this is the first ever single variety release of this apple from the Ross team, and is just 180 bottles.
An astounding flavour of fresh peach, star fruit, rhubarb and custard. A precious relic of history reborn. Alc. 5.9% vol.
